Imagery of Acting Art

1. Individual Images and their transformations - MONOLOGUES

Individual acting creativity has finally received its own distinct scientific methodology. Playing on the "insides" is already a moveton, as well as a manipulative game on the tricks of an actor, a craftsman. Impressions are the only valid criterion for the existence of a full-fledged acting artistic product. Transformations reveal the magical humanitarian world within a person, and realise incomprehensible creative potential.

2. Pair Images and their Transformations - DIALOGUES

The work of two actors is aimed at creating a Pair Image and is opposed to mutual competition, fights, or oppression. The understanding and beauty of any relationship lies in its perfect format, in the absence of mechanical symmetry and synchronicity. This part of the course explores the possibilities of dialogue between two personalities. Partial loss of personal integrity for the sake of the development and beauty of a united Image of a pair of actors.

3. Creation and transformation of COMPOSITIONS

A mericulous look at the Image, its structure, invariably leads us to the study of the Composition. The Composition itself is a result of the diverse cooperation of the people involved. Development and management of the overall composition from both a dominant and a non-dominant position. The interaction of centres-nodes and the "periphery", which strengthens them with their relative actions, determines the nature and integrity of the game structure.

MASTERING IMAGERY

In this course, we study the methodology of acting creativity in three possible dimensions. Namely:

1. Individual Imagery (singular) - Individual Images and Monologues

2. Pair Imagery (double) - Pair Images (unities) and Dialogues

3. Collective Imagery (plural) - Compositions and transformations of Compositions

These dimensions intersect, intermingle and, accordingly, transform themselves. Each step in the transformation has its own specificity and inherent aesthetic and meaningful value.

The work is extremely difficult, but just as fruitful and rewarding.

Second course. Imagery of acting/behavioural art.

This is the second part of our academic program. This course is 20 weeks in duration and consists of 16 laboratory works + 4 weeks of midterms.

Structure of the course:

2.1. Individual Imagery. Methodology of building, identifying and maintaining the Image and conducting "Monologue".

2.2. Pair Imagery. Methodology of entering into a relationship. The search for asymmetric general cooperation. Identifying the Image of the couple. "Dialogue".

2.3. Compositional Imagery. Composition’s structure. Establishing the composition’s internal connections. Detecting the Image of the Composition. Limits of maintenance, aspects and transformation of the Composition.

2.4. Mutual transformations of individual, paired, and composition’s Images. Free and thematic Imagery improvisations.
